Restoration of Saints Peter and Paul Cathderal

In the Soviet period heads of a Lutheran community were exiled, the spike was removed from the Saints Peter and Paul cathedral and the building was turned into cinema. And only in 1992 the cathedral was returned to a Lutheran community. The consecration of a new altar throne was held in 2005, one hundred years after the first one.
