Pskov fortress was one of the toughest in Russia
Due to its location the Pskov fortress was very important for the Russian state. That is why by the XVI century City of Pskov had become one of the most fortified cities in Russia and the Pskov Kremlin had become one of the toughest in Russia with the walls 6 metres thick and 20 metres high.
