Monument at the Russian army quarters
In 1912 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the victory a monument to Kutuzov, the commander-in-chief of the Russian army, was erected at the place of location of the Russian army quarters during the Battle of Borodino. The following words are engraved on it: “The enemy was resisted at all the points”.
