The Moresque Pavilion was created by architect Carl von Diebitsch and exhibited from Prussia at the International Exposition in Paris in 1867. King Ludwig II was fond of oriental things, that is why he ordered to purchase this pavilion and install it on the hill in the park of the Liderhof Palace.
