Church was founded by Boris Galitzine
The Church of the Sign of Our Lady in Dubrovitsy is a unique monument more than three hundred years old. Its construction was finished in 1699 and the consecration was done in 1704. The owner of those lands was prince Boris Alexeyevich Galitzine, the tutor of future Emperor Peter the Great.
