Mehikoorma Lighthouse

Mehikoorma lighthouse stands on the shore of lake, which is called Chudskoe in Russia and Peipsi in Estonia. It is the active lighthouse, furthermore it is the highest lighthouse on the lake 15 meters high and his light is visibilie from 10 nautical miles.

Mehikoorma Lighthouse was built in 1928 at the narrowest part of the strait that connects lakes Chudskoe and Pskovskoe. This strait is called Lake Teploe in Russia and Lammijarv in Estonia.
