Stone fortifications in Pskov since XIII century
The first stone fortifications at the site of the Pskov Kremlin, also known as the Pskov Krom, were built in the XIII century at the mouth of the Pskova and the Velikaya rivers. The tower at the very northern part of the wall is the Kutekroma tower dated to 1400.
