Monument Grateful Russia to its defenders
Monument Grateful Russia to its defenders was erected on Borodino Battlefield in 1912 in commemoration of the centenary of the victory in the Battle of Borodino. Words of emperors Alexander I and Nikolay II about the feats of the heroes of this great battle are engraved on it.
