Five tiers with three wide staircases
The Church of the Intercession at Fili has a skyward composition of five tiers: basement, main tier of four apsides, quadrangular and octagonal tiers. The building is centric, it does not have a separate bell tower and the belfry is located on the fifth tier. There is a balcony-ambulatory which can be reached from three wide staircases.
